Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Landscaping Labourer for our client based in Halstead on a temporary to permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and assisting with the completion of landscape construction projects. You will also be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assisting landscapers with installation work
• Laying paving, decking and turf
• Installing fencing
• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment required to complete projects
• Transporting materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/carrying
• Mixing cement
• Digging ditches or trenches
• General garden clearance including, turf stripping, digging foundations, removing waste into skips
• Operating various tools
• Working in all weathers
• Manual handling practices

Experience, Education & Qualifications:

• Familiar with manual handling practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Driving licence advantageous due to the nature of the work, however not essential
• Ability to work as part of team
• Ability to carry out strenuous physical tasks

Working hours are Monday – Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm

In return our client offers a salary of £10.00 – £12.50 per hour.
